Leadership is about what’s right for the organization, not what feels right for the leader.

Liz Weber
About This Quote

Leadership is about what’s right for the organization, not what feels right for the leader. This means we need to focus on the organization and what ideas will work for them, not on our own personal preferences. We need to be open to ideas that may conflict with our own. When we react with fear, we’re limiting our leadership potential and stifling creative thought.

To be a truly great leader, we need to let go of our personal preferences and really listen to others. Remember that leaders are servants first and leaders second.
